That's why we produced our video with our company president, Rob June and a home owner that was not sure the Safe Slider was a truly a do-it-yourself product. This sliding door lock installs so easily, anyone can do it. All you need is a drill and a lock kit. Place latch in door jamb against the inside edge. Holding latch firmly, mark holes. Drill 1/8” pilot holes. Install latch using enclosed screws.

Our sliding glass door lock is so simple to install, anyone can do it! Slide door to fully closed position. Open the double locking bolts on the lock assembly. Position lock on door, centered over the installed latch. Now, close the double lock bolts and drill 1/8 pilot holes through the lock assembly into the sliding door frame. Install the lock assembly using the enclosed screws.
